Mount Abram Adds Duane’s Retreat

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

To cap off a process that has been about a year in the making,  the Town of  Greenwood Planning Board approved the plan of the Hillside Condominiums at Mount Abram project.  Hillside Condominiums at Mt. Abram is a 121 unit residential condominium project adjacent to the Mt. Abram ski slopes.  Each unit will have up to 4 bedrooms, a deck, extra parking, and most will have ski-in ski-out access to the trails.  The project includes over a mile of new roads, expanded and new parking areas, expansion of their snowmaking ponding facility, new wells and water distribution system, and improvements to decks and patios at the lodge.

The project is still in the review process with the Maine DEP, though a decision on the Site Location of Development Permit is not far off.
